The online examination of IBPS CWE will be conducted in Two Phases which is:

  • Preliminary (pre)
  • Main

Both the tier and phases consist of objective type questions.

Total Marks of Examination:

Marks of  preliminary(Pre) Exam is only qualifying marks to qualify for main exam of IBPS PO/MT. Marks of  Preliminary exam is not countable in final merit list  which is declared after interview process. Total marks of pre exam are given below:

  • Preliminary: The total marks of preliminary exam is 100

Total Time Duration:

There is limited time duration for the examination provided by the IBPS which is:

  • Preliminary: Total time duration for preliminary exam is 1 hour

IBPS PO/MT CWE Exam 2015

  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
  • If a question is left blank there will e no negative marking for that question
  • All the subjects except the subject English Language will be available in both the languages Hindi and English

Selection process:

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each subject and also a minimum total score for selection. The candidates who clear the online exam are shortlisted on the basis of merit list. The merit list depends on the number of vacancies. Then the shortlisted candidates are able to qualify for interview process. Prior to the completion of interview process scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the candidates.

IBPS PO/MT CWE 2015 Exam Syllabus

IBPS planned PO/MT CWE examination in two Tiers i.e. Tier1 and Tier2. Tier1 is the pre examination of PO/MT and Tier2 is the main examination of IBPS PO/MT.

IBPS Preliminary Examination Syllabus:

IBPS PO/MT Preliminary examination consists of three subjects which are English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Syllabus of all three subjects is given below:

  • English Language: English Language syllabus of IBPS PO/MT Examination consist of three parts which are General English, Comprehension and spelling section.
  • General English: Vocabulary, synonyms, Antonyms, Word formation & sentence completion
  • Comprehension: Theme detection, deriving conclusions, passage completion, error detection and passage correction, sentence correction
  • Spelling Section: Grammar, idioms &phrases
