Expected Cut off marks for IBPS PO Prelim Exam 2015

IBPS PO {Pre} Cut off 2015

IBPS will soon declare IBPS PO {Pre} Cut off 2015 on its official website. Candidates will encounter three types of Cut off’s. One will be Overall Cut off, Second will be Sectional Cut off and third will be State wise Cut off.

Overall Cut offIn this category wise cut off are determined from the total marks of the Paper. For instance IBPS PO Prelim Paper is of 200 marks, then candidates who comes under General category can see there Overall Cut off around 100-110.

Sectional Cut off : In this each section will get cut off marks and candidates need to secure at least those sectional cut off’ s to mark their place in Mains.

Sate wise Cut off marks: It is straight and clear, candidates will get cut off marks from the place he/ she has applied for. For instance, candidate applied from Bihar and Bihar’s cut off went around 97% then candidate need to secure at least 97 % according to state wise Cut off’s.

But the question is do all the above Cut off’s matter for candidates appearing in IBPS PO Prelim Exam 2015. So, the answer is yes! all the above Cut off marks matters and candidate need to determine their marks according to the Cut off only then they can appear in Mains.

IBPS PO Selection Process comprises 5 vital steps:

  • Written Examination: Prelim & Main these two exams will be the written exams, through which candidate will move to the further step.
  • Verification of Documents: All documents of the candidates are being verified by the concerned authorities. After the approval of the authorities. Candidates will be call for Personal Interview.
  • Personal Interview: Candidates will be called for Personal Interview after they clear Prelim & Main Exams.
  • Score Assessment: A cumulative (Rough) Score Card will be given to the candidate.
  • Allotment of Organisations: Candidates will be allotted the participating Organisations in IBPS Exam. This will be on the basis of Merit List.

IBPS PO Cut off marks & Selection Criteria

There were 3 sections English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. 100 Objective Questions in 1 hour. The biggest challenge was to finish the paper with maximum correct answers. 70% candidates attempted only 40 Questions out off 100 and rest of them managed to attempted 60 Questions in 1 hour.
